life has been relatively interesting this week.
i had been having how should i say it, interesting transport rides.

case 1
i was on my way to school one morning and as usual i was rushing for the train.
i got to the station found that both escalators were down at 7.30 in the morning.
imagine the jam.
so its stairs climbing & seeing the train drives away above me as i snailed my way up.
then, as i reach school who knows, the escalator was down too.
so in an hour, i've climbed almost 70 steps i reckon.
coincidence?

case 2
i was on my way to clarke quay one evening and it was jampacked.
was on heels and really happy i came out early.
(sidenote, after i showered and was about to leave house, it started pouring. -.-)
so i was on train texting away, and the train stopped in tracks near queenstown. they had spotted a train fault and stopped. So train was delayed, so were subsequent trains. And it marked the start of the exhausting ride. Train started braking every 5 ~ 10 seconds, full brake. Walla, imagine heels and brakes , they equate to streneous exercise. i totally think it's on par with 100 sit ups. In addition, there were heated crowds who want to squeeze onto train but to no avail and started cursing and swearing.
(Eh eh, not the first time seeing this, the last time i saw this was due to another train fault and there were no train in sight towards marina bay at JE at 6.30pm for at least 20 minutes. Hoho, talk about crowd. i almost stood at the yellow line at the other side of the platform.
Oh, i got carried away.
Anyway, i got to outram safely, thinking it's the end of my adventure. I happily texted sharon telling her that thank God i wasn't taking the train towards punggol cos it's another tug-of-war. So i delightedly got on the train to harbourfront, found a seat, texted mh asked where were they, and he called. Thenthe split second i answered, something strike me and i realised i took the wrong train. Voula, we'e meeting at clarke quay, and i trained to harbourfont?
Kudos to grace.
I listed that as one of my classics.

Case 3
it was nearing midnight, i was tired and texting serene. She was telling me about.. soeul moment? i can't remember.
and well, to make things short, i alighted at cck instead.
and yes, i realised it immediately the doors open.
so i sheepishly walked slowly to the centre of the platform and waited for the next train.
for a moment, i thought the station masters might think i'm trying to commit...
well, so yeah.

Case 4
i was on my way to school today.
i hadnt much sleep this morning cos i was trying to do last minute mugging for the paper today.
moreover, i had an interesting dream during my few hours of doze.
so, i was at clementi, and thought myself to be quite smart to take the empty 154 which came 2 minutes after the crowded one.
and who knows, the step to get on the bus was so high, i didnt quite get onto the step. and fell forward in front of the bus uncle. talk about embarrassment.
but i still think i handled well, i calmly walked to the back with a black face and notes in my hands and sarted flipping my notes the minute i sat down. (ughhh, i think it's not bad. lol.)
but i still blame it on my jeans.

case 5 (total blurness)
i saw the "switch mobile phones off" sign before i went into exam hall.
i took out my phone, it was on silent, i wanted to switch it off, but subconsciously, i "turn off silent".
i had some memory of my action when i heard a sony ericsson beep.
and it beeped at least 5 times.
left hall early as i couldn't do all the qns.
and found that it was my phone afterall.
well done grace.

i shall side track and talk about more pleasant things then.
lol.

went eski bar with solomon knights on wed to partly celeb xc's brthday and partly for sharon's sendoff.
it was freezing and a really fun night :D

then it was food tasting at m hotel ytd.
tummy full :D

oh, it was xr and sherman's birthday chalet last sat.
yea.

supposed to see my smtown today..but oh wells, it has ben postponed to next friday. oh eh, don't think i can make it though. it's pearlie's birthay. shall go contact mich. sigh.

wow, such a long entry.
i seriously got carried away haha. was studying and decided to take a breather so i went to people.
andandand, i saw that slumdog millionaire has won 8 awards!
i just watched that last friday and i wanted to blog about how nice the movie was since forever but i kept procrastinatng. now i see that they had won so many awards! i'm totall getting really excited now.
i need to say i love the songs in the movie and the kids are real cute and the dance at the end is classic. everyone was dancing at the platform. lol.
oh, do catch it if you're interested. it's this english-speaking indian film which is seriously very good. in fac, i think the male lead is quite goodlooking, the young of the male lead is cute as well oh, the female lead is wayy beyond gorgeous.

oh dear, i'm too high to get back to otia. been kept busy these few days with meetups!
it was first long lost primary clique meetup at essential brew on monday. i totally can understand why we clicked when we were young. but, first meetups are always not as accurate, you know, we might put up a false front. so, time will tell (: but i'm still superr happy to meetup with them. it'll be with sweecheng next time hopefully, and my the other groupie? aww man, pls come back fast yumiao.

then it was shokudo sendoff for yingshin on tue. it was good too. we had fun discussing many diff things and some are nc16! 0.O then there were those pretty photos :D

today was first studydateoftheyear with ally. it's no longer the youthroom-tauhuay-japcurryrice nights. we've moved to wlds library! i still love it there best. rmb the sec4 days and jtwo days which i spent mugging there with soo. aww familiarity. still! today was a harvestful(?) day. i did not fall asleep in lecture, neither did i while i study, neither did i while i tutored. well, almost in all occasions. :D

ohohs, and i need to random and digress.
- yewtee has subway.
- there's free samplin of this titbits at yewtee on 20th afternoon.
- amanda told me to text 2009 to this number and i did.
- ally ang and i are besties in _____ shopping.
- i really want to go summerschool/taiwan/yagvolunteer. but they all fall in the same period of time while i intern(hopefully).
- so i concluded that there's no 'one best way' in living but we always resort to 'satisficing', satisfying by sacrificing.
- i'll just be rational and try to find a hotel mgt intern/ airport mgt intern. lol.
- serene, my phone bill is 30over this mth. i'm shocked.
- jojo, missing you!
- seriously, ning too. you/me mia-ed and we don't msned even though you're online!
- life has been so mundane. it has been tuitions and lessons.
but hey i think i still like tuitions.
it leads me to know more about other families' lives.
kind of gave me a different light in seeing things.

oh, hmm.
can i just say kids these days are way too stressed?
they have so much to do everyday.
and all the other miscellaneous things they need to take up. wow.

oh, i've come to realise, it's really best to find a partner of the same religion.
so there won't be conflict of thoughts,
different mindset etc.
else, if it ends up in a divorce, the child(ren) is the most innocent party.
they'll be infused with the wrongest things and the vicious circle will continue when they grow up.

andand, my aunt has been stuffing me with so many kiwis whenever i go over, it is making me a really happy girl :D she feels that..

- apples taste better when eaten chilled, but its a torture to bite through a chilled apple.

- playing hangman during managerial econs lecture is the best pasttime to pass time.

- habits kill.

- so do online forum comments.

- it is hard to keep to new year resolutions. and it's only February.

- she is so easily amused by many things, such as how the standing cabin can squeeze so much more people during the peak hours.

- disputes between parents really affect the children.

- time is whooshing past. It is already February. she has prelims in 3 weeks time. didn't school just start and christmas just pass?

- it is super exciting cos she is going to have an online prelim paper. Wow.

- everyone is celebrating 21st, her pocket is burning a huge hole.

- it is really a torture to wait for top's family outing episode.

- it is going to be really awkward this sunday night.

- gajung couple is so cute together in bof. and yes, kimsoeun is really pretty.

- she hasn't found the right organiser yet. sigh.

- it is going to be really hard to find an intern job this year. isn't it?

andandand, this post was actually to emphasize on how i love/hate chilled apples. look how much stuff i crapped out. lol.

anyway, did i mention i love bananas and kiwis? hahaha.
